Dr. Jenn Rudnick

Dr. Jenn was born and raised in Michigan and obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. A year later, she moved to Massachusetts where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.

Dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine, Dr. Jenn continued her education by completing a one year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After her internship, she moved to Maine to work in an emergency and critical care referral hospital. In 2016, she began practicing general medicine in small animal clinics, focusing on preventative care along the seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire.

It was through this diverse background that she developed an interest in pain management, sports medicine, and passion for giving pets the loving and dignified end-of-life journey they deserve. In 2019, Dr. Jenn became certified in veterinary rehabilitation at Canine Rehabilitation Institute. She founded Coastal Canine Rehabilitation and Wellness, a house call rehabilitation and hospice practice.

Dr. Jenn joined Elk Rapids Animal Hospital in the summer of 2020. She is excited to be back home in Michigan practicing her passion for rehabilitation medicine; working to restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain for pets in northern Michigan.

Dr. Jenn’s family includes her husband, two daughters, and three dogs; Labradors, Ranger and Murphy, and a Boxer mix, Spaz. Favorite activities include exploring the wilds of Michigan, camping, hiking, and boating.

Dr. Jenn looks forward to working with you and your companion and putting them on the path to a better health, fitness, and wellness!
